The Southbank is London's sophisticated Coney Island. There's a ferris wheel, eh-hem excuse me, I mean the London Eye, a merry go round, hot dog vendors, play grounds, a skate park, and lots of bright colors (unlike the rest of London!).

It's a fun place to wander if you're in need of an escape from the dreary city.
