One of the many things my mom is gifted at is making flower arrangements.
Whenever she has guests, she always groups the perfect combination of blooms and greenery in a pretty vase and places them on the bedside table.
It's such a simple and lovely addition to the room.
Plus your guests will remember the gesture.

This Thanksgiving I was tasked with decorating the tables.
We used 3 different sets of China- my Grandmother's, Aunt's, and Mother's, and I sewed some colorful cloth napkins and table toppers to go with them.
But knew I would need a little help with the flowers.
So, I eagerly asked for my Mother's assistance with making the centerpieces.
I purchased the flowers (all by myself!), cut some greenery from the backyard (it's cheaper and prettier than the storebought kind) and she helped me put it all together.

Here are some photos of the process.

Aren't they wonderful?
The perfect combination of fall colors.
Thanks Mom for your help!

Have a great weekend, friends!
