I actually didn't end up practicing with the new equipment, but I did experiment with different angles and different metering techniques. The pictures came out pretty cool.

.experimenting
A week before the wedding, my brother agreed to pose so I could experiment with some of my new photo equipment. He even volunteered to bring his own props- a golf club & a jack n' coke. ;)
