.tourist life. seattle

On Saturday, Emily and I took the Bolt Bus to Seattle. We left Portland at 8:30 am and 3 hours later arrived at Union Station in the heart of Chinatown, Seattle. It was an interesting trip, and I'll spare you the long story. But suffice it to say, the trip consisted of forgotten wallets, pink umbrellas, almost missed bus rides, delicious fajitas, and lots and lots of rain.

Here's what I saw as a tourist in the largest city in the Pacific Northwest:

Happy Christmas Eve, my friends! Enjoy the time with whomever you are sharing it with.

  1. But just think, if everything had gone smoothly we wouldn't have anything to look back and laugh at. i.e. Vicky and how sad we were when we thought we left her in the three story Target. Or walking past that Russian man who happened to be a whiz at basting butter on delicious looking pastries. Or how about when we failed at blowing bubbles for the woman who was patiently trying to take our picture in the gum alley.

Seattle was not perfect (well those fajitas kind of were) but i'm sure it will make us laugh for a really long time.

    Love ya Carol!

p.s. that last photo rocks. a lot.
